Everything you need to get the most out of Parslee

Plain-language answers — no tech background needed. The apps you get, how to turn them on, what things cost, and how to reach a real person. For privacy, see our Privacy Policy.

Your Parslee apps

Parslee is one platform with several apps that work together. Here's what each one does, who it helps, where to open it, and how it gets turned on for your team.

Good to know

When an app is newly turned on for your organization, it may not show up right away in the screen you're already looking at. If that happens, sign out and back in (or switch organizations and switch back) and it will appear.

Chat

Your everyday AI Employees

Go to Parslee
This is the heart of Parslee — an AI assistant for your whole company that you talk to by typing, just like texting a coworker. Parslee calls these assistants AI Employees. Unlike a generic chatbot, an AI Employee can connect to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and your company documents, so it answers using your real business information and can take real actions for you.

Who it helps: Everyone on your team. You can use a general assistant, or pick a specialized AI Employee set up for a particular kind of work (for example a sales or HR assistant).

What you can do

  • Ask questions in plain English and get answers drawn from your real company information
  • See where each answer came from, so you can check it
  • Have it draft and send email, or schedule and move calendar meetings
  • Search your company's documents
  • Build a shared company memory (a "Knowledge Base") — for example, capturing what was decided in a meeting so anyone can find it later
  • Set up tasks to run on a schedule, like a morning briefing or a weekly report
  • Choose a ready-made AI Employee from a library of role templates, or create your own
There's also a friendly voice option: a short spoken conversation with a guide named "Scout" that helps you figure out where AI Employees would help your business most.

Where to open: parslee.ai

How it's turned on: Every Parslee customer starts with this core chat app — it's the foundation, and the other apps below are add-ons on top of it. People with an admin or owner role handle setup (connecting Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, adding AI Employees); everyone else can then use the AI Employees that exist.

CRM

Keep track of customers and deals

Open CRM
A place to keep track of the people and companies you do business with, the deals you're working on, and your conversations with customers. What makes it different from an ordinary CRM is that you're not the one doing all the data entry and chasing — built-in AI helpers watch your accounts and deals around the clock and suggest what to do next.

Who it helps: Sales teams and small-to-mid-size businesses that want their customer records to actively flag stalled deals, at-risk relationships, and follow-ups, instead of being a passive list.

What you can do

  • See a "Command Center" home screen with a morning briefing of what needs your attention
  • Let AI helpers flag stalled deals, relationships going quiet, and follow-ups to send
  • Move deals across a visual board by dragging them
  • Import a spreadsheet of contacts, set up booking pages, send invoices, and connect your Microsoft 365 calendar
  • Ask questions in plain English on any page, like "Which deals are at risk?"

You stay in control

The AI helpers never change your data or message a customer on their own — every suggestion waits for you to click Approve first. There are extra safety brakes too: very large deals (over $100,000) always need a person to sign off, and there's an emergency switch to pause all AI activity.

Where to open: crm.parslee.ai

How it's turned on: Your organization can switch the CRM on itself. An admin goes to admin Settings in the main Parslee app and clicks Enable CRM. A confirmation box shows the monthly charge and explains the CRM will work with your customer records; the admin agrees and confirms. After that, anyone in your organization can open it. If you're not an admin, you'll see a message asking you to have your admin turn it on.

Studio

Make videos, images, and podcasts with AI

Open Studio
Studio is an online tool for making videos and other media (like podcasts and audio ads) with the help of AI. Instead of learning video-editing software, you describe what you want — say, a 30-second product launch video — and AI creative helpers do the heavy lifting: planning the shots, generating the visuals, adding narration or music, and stitching it together.

Who it helps: Marketing teams, content creators, sales teams, communications departments, and brand managers.

What you can do

  • Make commercials, music videos, explainer videos, social clips, testimonials, and trailers, plus podcasts and audio ads
  • Choose how hands-on you want to be: Express (fastest), Guided (step-by-step help), or Director (full control)
  • Review and approve the work at checkpoints before more work is done — you stay in creative control
  • Save a "Studio Pack" so a specific person, product, or location looks consistent across all your videos
  • Share finished videos with a link that can have a password, an expiration date, and a view limit

Where to open: studio.parslee.ai

How it's turned on: Studio has to be switched on for your whole organization by an administrator before anyone can use it. After it's turned on, you may need to sign in again for it to appear.

Trainer

Practice sales calls with a coach

Open Trainer
Trainer is a sales coaching and practice tool. Salespeople rehearse customer calls against a lifelike, computer-generated "buyer" that talks back like a real prospect — with its own goals, budget, objections, and personality. Afterward, it grades the conversation and gives specific, plain-English feedback. It can also grade recordings or transcripts of real calls your team already made. Think of it as a flight simulator for sales calls.

Who it helps: Sales reps (to practice), and sales managers, trainers, and operations leaders (to set up practice material and review how the team is doing).

What you can do

  • Practice calls: pick a practice prospect and difficulty level, have a spoken conversation with the AI buyer, then get a scored review with the exact lines that earned or lost points
  • Real-call review: paste in the text of a real call (or upload an audio recording, which the tool will transcribe) and get the same kind of scored feedback
  • Earn points, levels, and streaks for practicing, with a team dashboard for managers

Where to open: trainer.parslee.ai

How it's turned on: Trainer is the one app your own administrator cannot switch on by themselves. To get it, your organization contacts Parslee (or your account team) and asks for it to be enabled. Once it's on, an admin or owner sets up the practice material and team reports, and everyone else gets the day-to-day practice and feedback.

Getting set up and turning apps on

Signing in

You sign in to Parslee with the work account you already have — your Microsoft account (the one you use for Outlook / Microsoft 365) or your Google account (the one you use for Gmail / Google Workspace). There's no new password to create or remember. The same login works across all the Parslee apps.

Who can turn apps on

When your business signs up, you don't automatically get every app. The people who manage your organization's account decide which apps to switch on. Think of it like a phone plan: the account holder picks which features the whole household gets.

There are three roles in an organization:

  • Owner and Admin — your "manager-level" people. They can turn apps on and off for the whole organization.
  • Member — everyone else. Members use the apps that have been turned on, but can't turn apps on or off themselves.

If you're a member and want an app, Parslee shows you a message to ask your organization's admin to turn it on.

How apps get turned on

  • Most apps are turned on by your manager-level person inside Parslee's admin Settings (look for the section that lists the apps).
  • The CRM can be switched on right inside Parslee with a single confirmation step.
  • The Trainer (the sales-practice app) is the exception — nobody at your organization can switch it on. You contact Parslee to have it enabled.

Turning on a paid app adds to what your organization is billed, so Parslee always shows the price — and asks you to add a credit card if there isn't one on file yet — before it's switched on.

Important: you may need to sign out and back in

After an app is turned on, it doesn't always appear right away in the screen you're already looking at. This is normal. Just sign out and back in, or switch organizations and switch back, and the newly enabled app will show up.

What things cost

Parslee runs on something called tokens. Don't let the word throw you — a token is simply a unit that measures how much AI work you use.

Tokens are like minutes on a phone plan

Think of tokens the way you'd think of minutes on a phone plan or fuel in a tank. You have a balance, and it goes down as you use it. Every time you ask Parslee a question, have it run a task, or process a document, it uses up some tokens.

A few helpful things to know:

  • Your whole team shares one pool. Everyone draws from the same balance — there's no per-person limit, and there are unlimited seats.
  • Bigger jobs use more. A quick question costs a little; a long, complex task costs more.
  • You can watch your balance. Parslee shows your remaining balance in the app (a small meter in the sidebar). It turns amber when you're running low and red when you're nearly out, so you get a heads-up before the AI stops.

How to top up

To see your balance, history, and buy more, go to Settings → Billing & Usage in the Parslee app. Click Buy Tokens to top up. Checkout is handled through Stripe, the same secure payment service many online stores use.

Auto-Reload (optional): You can turn on Auto-Reload so Parslee automatically buys more tokens when your balance gets very low, so the AI never stops in the middle of a task. When Auto-Reload is on, Parslee charges $20 for 1,000,000 tokens automatically when your balance drops below 50,000 tokens. The trigger and refill amount are the same regardless of which token pack you originally purchased.

Who can buy: Only the organization owner can buy tokens or change billing settings. Admins and members will see a note that only the owner can purchase.

What the apps cost

Most of Parslee runs on the shared token balance described above — you buy tokens, and every app draws from the same pool. Some apps also have a fixed monthly subscription on top, and each monthly payment drops a fresh batch of tokens into your shared balance.

When an owner or admin turns one of these apps on, Parslee shows the exact price and any tokens the subscription adds before they confirm. The app can't be switched on until the price is acknowledged and a card is on file.

For current prices, see the enable confirmation in Parslee admin Settings, or contact your Parslee account team.

Privacy: who can see what

Parslee is your company's shared AI — but your conversations with it are not a public feed. Here is exactly who sees what.

Your chats

Nobody else can browse your chat history — not your coworkers, not your admin. As you chat, Parslee distills useful facts to build up knowledge; anything proposed for company-wide knowledge goes through your organization's review process before everyone's AI can use it.

Going Private

Flip the Private toggle on any conversation and Parslee learns nothing from it — the chat works normally, but no facts are extracted at all. Admins can also mark whole folders Secure, which switches learning off for everything inside them.

Meeting transcripts

When the Parslee bot captures a meeting, the transcript is visible to the meeting's attendees. The organizer chooses whether it is shared more widely — that's a setting each person controls for the meetings they run.

The short version

Your questions are yours. The company's knowledge is everyone's. You control which of your conversations contribute to it.

Get help and send feedback

There are two easy ways to get help: the Feedback button built into the Parslee app, and email.

The Feedback button (the fastest way)

Look at the top bar of the Parslee app for the Feedback button (a small message icon). Click it and you'll see two choices:

  • Send feedback — report a problem or send a suggestion
  • My feedback — see the reports you've already sent

When you choose Send feedback, a small window opens where you describe the issue in your own words. The app automatically attaches a picture of your screen and some behind-the-scenes details, so you don't have to explain everything yourself. You can also add up to 3 of your own pictures (PNG, JPG, or GIF, up to 5 MB each).

What happens after you submit

  1. The app takes about half a minute to read your report and screenshot.
  2. It may ask you a short follow-up question to make sure your report goes to the right place.
  3. You'll see a "Thanks — we got your report" message, and the team will email you when there's an update.

You can check on your reports anytime under My feedback. Each one is tagged with a plain-language status like "Fix in progress," "Fix ready — rolling out," or "Could not reproduce," and you can filter by open or closed. A small number badge on the Feedback button lets you know when there's a new update waiting.
